Celebration of Oscar fashions show

As we are awaiting Oscar night on February 25, I found a good link to
the "Celebration of Oscar Fashions" show curated by Vogue magazine's
Andre Leon Talley.

There is a slide show. Most of they dresses show are of newer vintage
including that beautiful Vera Wang dress that Kiera Knightly wore last
year and the mustard–yellow dress that Michelle Williams wore. The
vintage Valentino that Julia Roberts wore when she won her Oscar is
featured, as well as the Eli Saab dress Hallie Berry wore when she won
her Oscar for "Monsters Ball."
Alongside of the sublime, there is also the ridiculous –– including
one of Cher's Bob Mackie getups. Barbara Streisand's see–through
pajamas (My eyes! My eyes!) were in the show; but they aren't featured
in this slideshow. Apparently they tried to borrow Bjork's infamous
swan dress, but were refused.
It would have been nice if some more vintage items had been in the
show, such as the ice–blue satin dress that Grace Kelley wore when she
won her Oscar, *anything* worn by Audrey Hepburn, et c. I guess these
dresses may have deteriorated, been lost in the mists of time, et c.

Thanks, I enjoyed seeing this. wish they would take it on tour. I saw
a fashion show a couple of years ago put on by AMC that had great
costumes from the movies including Audrey Hepburn's dress from
Breakfast at Tiffany's and Grace Kelly's black and white dress from
Rear Window. It was a great show.
