Shift Dresses for Spring

The Shift for Success!!
This spring and summer shift dresses are back with a vengeance. The
more feminine and elegant the better. You will see styles with layers
of chiffon, ruffles, and pale colors.
When choosing a shift / sheath this spring keep these things in mind:
They should not be too tight or boxy. If you have an hour–glass figure,
darts will help to flatter the fit.
Be sure the armholes are high enough to hide your bra.
Hemlines at mid knee are probably the best length for most, but if your
knees and legs are great above the knee ( 2" or 3") will work. No
matter what anyone says, a micro mini is not in good taste.
Top off with a cardigan or short jacket.
As far as color goes pick one that flatters your skin tones. Polka dots
and vertical stripes are great choices too! Prints tend to make us look
matronly.
Wear with flats or heels. A modified platform will work too (platforms
and metallics are big)! Also, nude stockings are best with spring
and/or summer fashions.
