Despite feeling lackluster this past holiday season, my consumer spirit
returned with a vengeance today. I didn't even plan to go shopping today,
honest! I was on the way to the library when my sister called, asking for
help picking out a winter jacket. So I met her at the local mall and within
5min helped her find the jacket that she ultimately bought. Afterwards, I
took advantage of some postholiday sales.
From Aeropostale:
cute grey fleece bathrobe with funny monkey faces all over as a gift.
From Old Navy:
light grey, longsleeve, thick gauge, very low cowl neck sweater. Looks
great on, but sheds like crazy.
wanted a long cream doublezip cardigan, but passed because it'll probably
be further discounted in a couple of weeks.
From Banana Republic:
blackonblack pinstripe pants.
black faux tux pants.
silk/cashmere fine gauge sweater hoodies with kangaroo pocket in cream and
light heathered grey. I wanted the black one, but it had a snag.
gauzy sheer pintuckedatwaist black skirt with nude underskirt. I'm
going to return this because in my rush I didn't realize that the
hemline hit the max curve in my calf (not flattering).
chinos for DH in light grey and dark tan.
various merino wool sweaters for DH and brother.
From Club Monaco:
kneelength dark blue velvet pencil skirt with matching satin detailing at
the waist with back slit.
kneelength heathered tan pencil skirt with interesting back slit.
