Jcrew pants sizes

"tiggs03" <tigg...@hotmail.com>
Help! Would like to buy some pants from Jcrew's final sale, but
haven't bought them there in a while and the sizing charts are pretty
useless. I wear a 4 in Old Navy, but I recall Jcrew tends to run
bigger. The last thing I bought there was a pair of shorts two years
ago, and they were a 2. So I'm leaning towards a 2, but I need the
short inseam (31") and was wondering if this changes things...often
with petite sizes (although this isn't technically a petite) you need
to round up to the next size. Any advice??
Thanks and Happy New Year!

Are you pretty much the same size as you were two years ago? If so,
I'd go with the two or even a size 0 since, in my experience, they do
tend to run big. JCrew also has short lengths in a lot of their styles
& in that case I'd go with a 4P. HTH & Happy New Year to you, too.
