New L"oreal mineral foundation: Bare Naturale

Just saw it today. It's $13, and uses a different number/naming
system I think.

Has anyone tried these drugstore mineral foundations yet, i.e. this new
L'Oreal or the ones from Neutrogena and I also think there's one from
Physician's Formula? How do they compare to the high–end ones like
Bare Escentuals?

I can't compare it to anything else, but I bought the Neutrogena mineral
powder foundation. I like the powder itself, but the "delivery system" is
terrible. It's supposed to be delivered into the brush but when I use it
the way they intend, I end up with a cloud of powder. Instead, I tap it
into the lid, then invert the lid onto a tissue, then use a powder brush to
apply it. (I sometimes mix in a bit of Chanel loose powder in Rose to pink
up the beigey Neutrogena.)

Your experience mirrors my own –– nice product but getting it out sucks
royally. It either all poofs out in a cloud, or nothing comes out at
all. Grr. Why couldn't they have some sort of device to push the powder
out into the brush? Don't these companies test drive any of these
products to see how someone actually attempt to use them?
I've resigned mine to a makeup bag for touchups, although now I'm not
even using it for that, as I recently acquired the "pretty compact"
version of the CG TruBlend translucent fair pressed powder at Target
discount (love the red tags!) for that same purpose.

The Physician's Formula liquid mineral foundation is fantastic. I am
28 and have extremely oily skin with large pores and some acne scars.
I have never been able to wear liquid foundation before––it always sunk
into my pores. This stuff feels light, has good coverage, but doesn't
look or feel masky.
