Stila sold

Alice <freshmoroc...@gmailNOSPAM.com>
Estee Lauder has sold the Stila brand. A friend says that they will
be pulling out of Nordstrom, which seems like a bad idea to me but I
have not confirmed that they will be doing this. Apparently Sephora
is going to become the sole distributor. Don't know whether the
standalone Stila stores will remain.
Anyone out there with more details about the future of Stila?

Oh poo I guess this means they won't be in the EL outlet stores anymore
either. Pity, as that's where I buy Stila when I do buy Stila, which
frankly isn't all that often anymore anyway. LOL I remember when it was
the hot brand on the block, and everybody was buying Stila cans on eBay
for way too much money. Now they have them at the outlet store for
months on end....
Michele, who can always get nostalgic about shopping days gone by,
cosmetic shopping doubly so :P

So it is being sold back to the Stila corporation and they will once
again have control. Am I correct?

According to another article, the "Stila Corp." here is actually a new
company formed for this acquisition:
Sun Capital Partners, Inc. ("Sun Capital"), a leading private
investment firm specializing in leveraged buyouts of market–leading
companies, today announced that one of its affiliates has acquired the
assets and ongoing operations of the Stila brand ("Stila") from The
Estee Lauder Companies Inc. forming a new company, Stila Corp.
