"ahmward" <nospam.ahmw...@yahoo.com>
70 degrees and dry though we expect more rain tonight I pulled up all
of the radishes and two heads of lettuce this morning. Now I'm getting
ready to get a color and cut. I have a workman coming at 1 p.m.,
hepatitis booster shot at 4 and then dinner out this evening with DH at
a paella restaurant.
orange long sleeve Michael Kors top
tan slacks
tan loafers with thin tan socks
gold double circle dangling earrings, gold Seiko watch and thin gold
bracelet
green J Jill jacket for the morning
pink AK hobo bag
uncertain about tonight's outfit

It is Africa hot here and I seriously cannot take it. I can't wait to
get back to the kookiness that is S. CA. For working, running errands,
and dealing with yet another air conditioning problem:
– Off white cotton knit Yohji sleeveless asymmetrical sweater with
funky ruching throughout
– Black cotton twill aline Helmut Lang short skirt
– Black leather Comme sandals purchased at a major going out of
business sale last year

LOL... haven't posted here in forever... today it's in the mid 80s in
Dallas.... enjoying Spring while we have it... here is the joke of the
day... based on what I am wearing... it used to fit... but I lost so
much weight in the year... dropped from an 8 to a 2/4... the skirt I
have on is sitting on my hip bones.
So went out and did a major shopping this afternoon with a Mish. Went
nuts... none of my clothes from last summer fit.

Whoa! I need that diet! Congrats on being such a skinny minnie! I'm
sorry to hear that the weight loss also involved emotional loss.
However, retail therapy seriously rocks.

–white cotton ribbed Petite Bateau tank top
–white cotton ribbed zip–up GapKids hoodie sweater
–fabulousfabulous Tahari white/blue/brown deco print silk tulip skirt with
brown grosgrain ribbon that sits low on the hips and ends perfectly at the
bottom of my knees. Was a bit more than I normally pay for a separate, but
I'm so glad that I bought it. I've only worn it a few times, and I'm scared
of washing it. :P

ami, I always get my silk skirts professionally dry cleaned. They don't
have to be cleaned very often since they don't soil as easily as my
tops, and they always look as good as new.

Ami, I have this exact same skirt (although mine is shorter on me) and
absolutely love it. As Audrey also suggested, I always have it dry cleaned.

Sheesh... we had the wind storm from hell blow through here last
night... my fence blew down... such the ninnie I went up to Blowe's to
buy nails and wood (LOL!!) and somewhere along the way it got downright
cold overnight!! Gotta love Texas!!
Today... wearing my favorite chocolate brown sweater and jeans and
boots... it may be the last time I get to wear them until Fall. Sigh...
I have been on such the chocolate brown kick that yesterday went and
bought mules and kitten heels too in brown. Pathetic!!

Yes it does rock!! Its funny because I knew I had lost weight just
didn't realize it... the people that I know around here call me bones
and boobs! ARGH... yesterday was a bit of a reality check for me... I
refused to buy a pair of pants in a 2. I just can't bring myself to do
that. So I bought 4s instead.
It's amazing because once I started eating again... I started eating
healthy... I wasn't going out and eating in restaurants all the time
like we used to. I think that's what truly made the difference. Plus
started eating Special K for breakfast and yogurt for lunch... but hell
I will NEVER give up my passion for bread and pasta... NEVER... now I
just eat smaller portions.

68 and I may be able to work in the yard before the next storm arrives
This morning I am bringing coffee and treats to the wonderful volunteers
from a major office supply store who are going to work at our thrift
store all day. Hooray for community volunteers! The rest of the day
I'll be at home continuing the spring cleaning.
