OT: Anyone in the Madonna fan club?

"Lipgloss Junkie" <lipglossjun...@gmail.com>
Hi all – this is off topic but I'd love to be able to buy tickets to
madonna's tour.
Anyone in the official fanclub that won't be buying tickets? If so, let
me know!
Thanks,
melanie

i'm in the fan club and i won't be buying tickets.
i haven't heard about this tour, but tickets for her last tour
were something like $250 per ticket.
i shelled out $87/ticket for Cher. that's the most i'm willing
to pay for tickets, apparently. i got crappy seats (2nd balcony)
for Margaret Cho at $45/ticket, because i didn't want to pay $130
for the good seats.

She'll be here on June 5th. The highest priced tickets will be $350.
I'm not a fan club member and I'm not willing to pay that much so I have
to see what and where the cheap seats are.

I read in the paper this am that her tickets started at $75 and went up to
$400. Yikes!

Hey David – I just sent you an email about this...seeing a Madonna show
is on my list of things to do before I die. I'd like to make a quick
trip out of it...depending where I can get tickets.

Regrettably I have never been to a Madonna concert. I know many people who
have little respect for Madonna, but I consider her as one of the most
influential performers of my lifetime. I wish I had gone to see her during
her peak.

I just checked tickets here for the June 5th concert and they range from
$55 to $350. Fan club members can currently purchase just two but they
go on sale to the public tomorrow. I sat in one of those $55 for the
last Aerosmith concert and said I'd never do it again but I also don't
want to spend $1400 plus additional charges for 4 tickets, yes for Mick
but no for Madonna.
I've never really been a fan of Madonna's but I do admit she's sure got some
staying power in her act. She's been at it for a long time and still
demands a high price for tickets without much trouble selling them. My
brother in law won an Aston–Martin Martin DB–7 sort of about her.

He actually drove it for a year before selling the thing. Insurance was as
much as his house payment lol...

I saw Madonna back in 92 when I was 9mos preggo with Blondie... talk
about time flying...
She's definitely on tour... one of the men that I am currently dating
;) (McDreamy) actually knows her assistant... hmmm... hopefully we'll
be more than just dating later on because I'd really like to see her
and from what I have seen so far... no Dallas dates... she did this
last time!!
BTW.. David.. I saw Cher... paid almost 200.00 a pop but sooo freaking
worth it... best concert I have ever been to in my life!!

Thanks to the child in LA. She got me two $95 tickets and she can't go.
The cheapest tickets were sold out at 10:01. The $95 were sold out at
10:05. My hair stylist's assistant ended up with two $240 tickets
purchased before 10:10 and those were the least expensive available.

Madonna is going to be making so much money with this tour. Tickets for
the June 5th concert sold out in 20 minutes so she is going to do a
concert on June 6th. I cannot imagine Madonna spending the night in
Fresno! In my wildest dreams, thank you Oprah, I hope she dines at the
restaurant where the boy worked.

OK – I just got row 21 right to the side of the stage tickets for $95
each for the LA show. Best part is that the show is on a Sunday of a
long weekend that has a holiday Monday so it'll make a fun mini–holiday
weekend.
And of course there will be shopping.
Yay!

The LA and Vegas tickets go on sale to the public tomorrow and the next
day. (If there are tickets left.) I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

did you see her when Cyndi Lauper was opening for her? we were
supposed to see Cyndi open for Cher, but apparently a week or so
before the show, Cyndi fell off a stage somewhere and sprained
her ankle. at least that's what we were told. my friend said
Cyndi could've performed sitting down. in her place they had
some comedian; can't remember his name.

David!!
Oh yes... Cyndi opened the show... they were both fantastic. I had never
seen Cyndi in concert before... so I was truly amazed... but I tell you
Cher of course was something else... I felt like I was in Vegas.
