I just bought a white spring jacket at Kohl's yesterday. It's not stark
white, but not ivory. Slightly offwhite I guess. Can I wear this now?
It is officially spring. What's this rule about Memorial and Labor Day.
Is that just for white shoes? I am just so sick of my black wool
peacoat. And sick of winter, for that matter. The jacket is kind of a
quilted material. I can't decide if it is semiChanel or housecoat.
Kohl's is really a PIA about returns so I haven't decided if I'm stuck
with it b/c I like it or I am too afraid to return it. : ) I also bought
a multicolored Rosetti handbag that just feels spring/summer. Maybe
Jenn or others that shop at Kohls have seen the jacket? It also came in
black.
Thanks,
Wendy
The official rule according to Stacy and Clinton and the fashion
magazines is that there is no longer any rule about when you can
wear white.
In the South, the rule is: after Easter.
For those of us from Kentucky, the rule is: after the Kentucky Derby.
AJ, who won't be wearing white until the first Saturday in May, lol
