Use for magazine samples

ami kio <...@cant–take–anymore–spam.com>
Today I ran out of the house without sunscreen again (I've been so bad about
that these past months), and I regretted it after 5min on the patio at a
girls' lunch. I minimize what I put in my purse to make it easier to switch
purses quickly, so I never carry sunscreen with me. As I was cleaning my
bathroom today, I came upon a quick solution: cut those blister samples of
sunscreen out of magazines and slip them in my wallet. They take up almost
no room, and they're a good single use size. Problem solved!
Now if I had only thought of that *before* I went to lunch. [rolls eyes at

DD and I went to a healthy living fair at the local city college. It
was raining a lot and the lady at the Kaiser table commented that not
many stopped by to get her tiny samples of sunscreen spf15. We said we'd
take some and she gave us a large handful. I also stocked up on pencils
and pens for the tutoring and we both got tiny radios and pedometers
given out by a local grocery store in addition to other items. It was
definitely worth the trip.

I drive a convertible and keep sunscreen in the center console of my
car all the time. It's handy to have for the top down days but even
better for the unexpected patio days. Considering I don't go anywhere
without my car, it's always on hand.

I don't normally keep sunscreen in the car b/c the summer heat degrades the
sunscreen; however, I realized that I have many little samples that I don't
use anyway. Instead of wasting away in a drawer, they might as well sit in
the car.

This is sort of a question to everyone as much as a question for you
Ami.
Do you wear make–up? If I was out to a girl's lunch or any lunch for
that matter, I'd have makeup on, actually I don't go out without
makeup on– not gobs, but foundation, concealer (zits not eyes) and
blush. How do you put your sunscreen on in the middle of the day? I
know we're supposed to reapply sunscreen throughout the day, but aside
from wearing foundation with sunscreen in it, which I do, I never get
how one is supposed to do this, without having to wash face, apply
sunscreen, reapply makeup. When I'm working outside, and sweat off my
makeup, I'll use a wipe of some sort and just put some tinted
sunscreen back on and it's not too much trouble. But how do people who
go about their day normally, with makeup on, reapply? I see there is
a website with a powder sunscreen. This seems like the best idea for
reapplication. I'm still test driving the physicians formula spf 20
solar powder, but so far I don't think it's as good as liquid.
I always wondered about this. On a normal day, there is no way I am
going to reapply sunscreen the way "they" say I should. It just makes
no sense for a makeup wearer.

If you apply a good layer of sunscreen on first, you should not have to
reapply it unless you are doing things in the sun; in that case wear a
tinted moisturizer and not a lot of foundation.

I don't wear makeup often anymore, but when I do, I always apply sunscreen
under my foundation. If I'm wearing makeup, I don't reapply sunscreen at
all. If I know that I'm going to be out all day in the sun, I avoid makeup
so that I can reapply my sunscreen; however, if makeup is a "necessity", I'm
bad and don't reapply sunscreen.
