1970s Glasses

This is for the older ones who may remember:
There were oval–shaped framed glasses that are brown in color that were
popular in the 1970s. I used to wear them when I was a kid during that
decade, but I wondered now what they called them back then.
What was the name of this kind of glasses people wore in the
1970s? I know they are not "cat glasses", but these are "oval shaped".
They are eyeglasses, not sunglasses.
