Kesalan Patharan Foundation (Kate Moss's fave)

Benjamin <bellodgiadontspammym...@hotmail.com>
Hi everyone,
Does anyone know where to buy the wonderful Kesalan Patharan foundations
online? I've tried the foundation at the fashionweeks from other MA's
and it's really amazing stuff. It covers really well and is very light.
In a recent Pop–magazine Kate Moss named it as her favourite foundation.

Hi, Benjamin! So happy to see you again!
How about trying the makeup411.com website that's sponsored by Makeup
Artist Magazine? Maybe someone there could help you out. And if you
do find out about where to get Kesalan Patharan, please do report back
to us––I think you could very well start a new lemming run!

Kesalan Patharan is a Japanese (though the name is Malaysian, I believe)
cosmetic brand. It is sold in high end stores in Singapore, and I would
compare it to Shu Uemura. Very high quality and a large array of colors and
products to choose from.
They have a cleansing oil (scented like citrus) that is very similar to
Shu's one and have a number of different kinds of foundation. I have both a
powder and liquid foundation and find that they give excellent coverage
without feeling heavy or looking cakey. When I go to Singapore, this is
usually the first makeup counter that I hit.
KP also has skincare, but with the exception of the cleansing oil, I have
not heard of it. I know that many of our Singapore AFers no longer post
anymore, but if they are lurking and will respond, you will get a *wealth*
of information––they are the ones who first introduced me to the brand.
I last bought KP at Takashimaya in Singapore.

Thanks for the interesting info, Leilani. I had never heard of the brand
and wondered about it.

I've sent a message to their website, but they never seem to answer..
From what I've heard the make–up is also available in Hong Kong.
I'm sure Kate Moss has one of her MA's to take it back for her from Asia.

Thanks for the information Leilani!
This is the foundation Kate Moss uses:

I think they might be discontinuing it, because it's not on the Japanese
website and the seem to have less colors compared to when I looked a
year ago..
