What I Bought Today

My daughter and I went to a bridge event at Macys. There was a fashion
show, wine, food etc. but we got there before the event started to look
at the clothes and get dressing rooms. I bought a pair of Dana Buchman
black and white tweed lined slacks on sale 75% off the already reduced
price. I had a coupon as well so they were originally $300 and closer
to $80 when I bought them. I also bought a white with black detail silk
skirt by Ellen Tracy. Can't find a link on line but the personal
shopper said a former Escada designer is now designing for Ellen Tracy.
I tried on another skirt with ribbons of white and black but it seemed
more formal to me and I need clothes that can be worn both day and
night. My daughter bought a medium green top by Mimi & Co.

Was down in Newport for my Stepsister's wedding this weekend. I went
to Fashion Island and South Coast Plaza. I didn't buy much.
My one great purchase was a pink Juicy t–shirt for my 1.5 year old
niece. It was no bargain at $40 ON SALE, but I had to have it. It says
The Duchess of Couture on the front with a picture of a pug wearing a
crown and a necklace. Since she has a puggy, she loved it.

i'm starting to think i may have a problem. i'm becoming a shoe
whore, that's for sure.

I went shopping for a pair of white pants and a beige leather bag
today, but I came home with nothing. I tried on several pairs of pants,
but I couldn't find any I liked.

Two days ago, actually:
Jo Malone Amber and Lavender cologne
Michael Kors Island Fiji
Both smelled really great to me, and lasted! I also liked the JM
Vintage Gardenia, but it was maybe a touch too sweet smelling for me.
The A&L smells a bit like the Burberry Brit perfume I often wear, which
is probably why I liked it (I believe one base note of Brit is amber).
My husband thought the Fiji would be great at night, so I sprung for
both.
