the wool suits in garment bags with cedar blocks and watching March
Madness, or as I prefer, The Dance.

an outfit that suddenly I think won't work
gored black silk skirt
\mauve pink BR peplum blouse with button front and puffed sleeves and
white wool tahari jacket with silver buttons
black fishnets
instead
wearing round neck sleeveless nicole miller (wave to cofarb) in black
with sheer black shoulders
black crepe pincess seamed bodice.. nips in a bit at the waist, at the
last 5 inches of the hem, lots of little pleats
same white tahari jacket over it
black crochet tights
black shoes..
black bag with gold details (tiny cocktail type bag but not so tiny I
can't carry cell)
and then some jewelry
less funky.. would be better for this wedding .. more conservative..
and able to just not think about fitting in.

tahitian pearl and white gold wired bib (LOTS of pearls)
a great littel bags from tinu shoebag (have to give you the URL for
this site. ) black tiny roll bag with gold roses at each end (*metal)
and golden chains on each side.
and I wore fishnet stockings.. crochet were too busy
good thing I wore the jacket. it was COLD there on the bluff but the
sun was shining
bride was gorgeous. phenomenal champagne sleveless dress with v neck
and LOW v back with mermaid hem/train with lots of crystals all over
the dress.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO GEORGE BENSON: Got up and did a few things before I
went to an 8:00 appointment with the phlebotomist. (She spent 90% of
the time I was in there comparing my arms to figure out which to
poke... a first–time success!). Had a number of things to do at work.

FIRST PERFORMANCE OF HANDEL'S "MESSIAH" TODAY IN 1743: Got up went to
work. Ran some tests to make sure my "improvements" didn't break them
(they didn't) in the morning. Started working on a new Engineering
Guideline (how–to cookbook) in the afternoon. Going to feed myself

NISSAN TENNESSEE ASSEMBLES VEHICLE #2,000,000 THIS DAY IN 1993: Got up
when the alarm rang and looked up some stuff on the Web. Went to
Church during the bright and early service. It was lunch time when I
got back, so I stopped by the Mexican place on the way in and had a
grilled chicken breast topped with onions and cheese. Now letting
dinner rest a bit while I catch up with conference calls. I'm probably
going to go out again, but it will be in a TBD T–shirt and shorts ans
we're breaking 80 as of 11:00. For the day so far*:

sunny a beautiful crisp day
I made great progress with my spring cleaning yesterday of clothing and
makeup. Whack me if I say I am going to buy another bar of soap or bath
stuff! I have a pile to give away and another impressive pile for my
daughters as well as my son's girlfriend and I still have too much. DH
is preparing the soil for our spring garden though we expect more rain
this week.

NBC's "SPECIAL BULLETIN" MOVIE CAUSES A MASS PANIC TODAY IN 1983: Got
up when the alarm rang and tossed the trash. Rain was threatening so I
took an umbrella. Spent the day trying to get my arms around the code
I'm probably going to be testing for the next year or so. By the time
the day was done, the weather was nearly clear and somebody said, "I
don't think you're going to need that umbrella!" For the day:

I can't take this weather! It's 82 degrees during the day and in the
40's at night. That's just wrong! For scoping out the Armani
eyeshadow palettes (big wave and a grimace for *forcing* me to buy more
eyeshadow to the always lovely ahmward), a lovely lunch at a whacky
bistro, and a day of business phone calls:

yesterday was a busy day. been so busy with a new gig that I have had
NO time to hit LAFW. Went to the LAFW suites though to view RTW and
accessory lines that can't afford to do a show or aren't appropraite..
it was at HD Buttercup by invite only... great great venue. easy in and
out.. got to do a fast walk through HD Buttercup too.
wow. WAY cool place.. This is a great store and there are lots of
little restaurants and other shops on Washington Blvd.. it's a cute
funky area
now what I wore
cabernet colored tweed light wool cuffed cropped pants.. really cute
with campus frye boots in the darker color, black l/s cowl neck sweater
with rolled edges from j crew.. tiny bell shaped sterling and pearl
chandelier earrings.. a clutch of black beaded bracelets with silver
stations
that's it.. too warm though. who knew it would be gorgeous weather
after all the "LA cold" weather we have been having.. saw gorge things
coming for fall. wow
