What I Bought Today – (hehe a little naughty)

Went shopping on Hollywood blvd. today. Got this one in pink:

The SA said they called that the "Austin Powers" babydoll.
They had this one in an aqua color, which is the one I got.

They did not have anywhere near as big of a selection at the store as they
do on the web site.
I saw this on the internet last night, and lo and behold they had it at one
of the mom and pop boutiques on Hollywood ...

fashiondish and I made a run to South Coast Plaza for some scoping out of
things. I had to make some sephora exchanges.. check out some stuff at Saks
and also interview Paige Adams Geller of Paige Premium Denim at Nordstrom.
(great great interview.. lots of 411 and I took photos)
PS Ami.. you can find the jeans you want in the dark color in the slightly
higher rise from Paige!!
the traffic in the mall was insanity. we drove around for 20 minutes+
trying to find a space and so many open spaces were too small for car
because some luxe vehicle decided to hog 2 spaces. FD decided to sneak us
into one space –– but it was so tight she had to crawl over the middle and
come out the passenger side of the car because there was no room for the
driver to get out.. (I was too chicken to do it)
anyway I wore my Paige Fairfax jeans with the raisin J crew shirt and the
cute Nicholas B assymetrical military style jacket and carried the coach
fuschia pink suede tote..
It was perfect when Paige saw me–– she recognized me and told me they had a
leather vest that coordinated with the leather trim on the fairfax style.
(ruh roh.. I so want that vest)
talked to her PR who is a friend and her SO who is UCLA hoops fan (GO BLUE)
I was there talking to her for about an hour.
We started out at Saks.. I talked to them about Well boz.. I am thinking
about ordering one.. it works for health issues as well as endermologie type
stuff
then had lunch (the lines were HORRENDOUS everywhere)
wound up having burgers at the Back Bay Rowing and then hit Nordies..
then after 45 mins at Nordies, went onto checking out other stuff. she
needed to hit one store, I went to Sephora and did some scoping out of
stuff. bought the new liquid double ended pout shadows.. She bought some
stuff for an upcoming trip. I hit the Sees candy store for a chocolate
fix.. she went to Banana Republic (BORING.. boring boring stuff) and then
went to brooks brothers while I hit Saks again to check out bond fragrances
(love bleeker street) and also order that well box. If I don't like I can
return it.
Also FYI, OC peeps. Laura Mercier will be doing a PA there on 3/23 so if you
want a makeover call Saks SCP and ask for the LM counter to make an appt.
it's definitely worth the time. the colors are amazing.
another line that has me intrigued is the changes in Trish McEvoy.. gorgeous
colors/textures and her cream blushes are to die for!!
we wound up finally leaving after FD bought not only a shirt but a pair of
shoes from Brooks Brothers and we had to call it a day. we were tired and it
was nasty cold outside!
