Espadrilles and sky–high wedges

Mentioned on the AOL welcome page with pics!
Anyone purchase any new spring/summer espadrilles or wedges yet?? I
can't wear them due to lower back problems. Any high heel height
bothers me. I did find a pair of low wedge shoes from zappos. and am
looking forward to wearing them. I do love the look of these
especially with summer fabric skirts and flowy dresses.

I have my espadrilles from last summer. The pair from Arthur Beren
haven't arrived. They are the SW patterned ones. I can't wear the ones
from Spain for more than a few hours because there is no cushion or
support. It is like walking on cardboard.

I've been buying espadrilles for the last four years, ever since I
spotted a shop full of them in the South of France and bought three
pair. They were so comfortable and stylish I'll never stop wearing
them! I just bought a new pair of Steve Madden espadrilles with
organdy laces that get me so many compliments when I wear them –– they
are taupe with greenish spangles all over the them.
I also picked up some divine spangly espadrille mules at Garnet Hill.
So comfy!

I love espadrilles and have a pair or two from Barcelona hanging out in my
closet waiting for warmer weather. I love the look of the wedge
espadrilles, but am waiting to see some thrifty versions first. I do love
the Michael Kors wedges, but don't want to pay the price.

I like the valencia wedges on the cover of the JJill catalog, I'm not
sure if I'd like the straps around my ankle. I also like the Born
t–strap espadrilles in that catalog. I should go to the store and try
them on.
