Recommendation req: handbag repair in SF Bay Area

~goatini~ <goat...@comcastdot.net>
If anyone in the SF Bay Area has a rec for a good handbag repair
place, please reply. I have a Bottega Veneta bag on which some of the
metal hardware has gotten loose, and I would like to get it fixed
somewhere I can trust. Thanks!

Call the SA at Neiman Marcus where they sell the bags and ask that
person. I am sure you'll get an answer.

Sorry for the late reply, Audrey, but many thanks for the rec. I do
get to downtown SF during the week at times, so this should work for
me!

goatini,
Please post the information when you get it. I'm sure a lot of us
would like to know.
I once asked about this at the Nordstrom's handbag department in SF
near Union Square. They referred me to Anthony's on 30 Geary between
Kearny and Grant, phone number 415–781–1338. It appears to be a shoe
repair shop, and I haven't actually tried it yet, but that's where
that Nordstrom sends leather bags – including their high–end designer
bags – to be repaired.
Would be curious to know what Neiman Marcus recommends.
Thanks,
Alice
