looking for input from salon or spa owners

Hi all, I own software company that makes an appointment book
management package called Salon Operations. The software is designed
for shops with many stylists to maximize your customer scheduling,
but what I'm looking to create is a scaled down version that would be
of use to the single operator or booth renter.
Can I get anyone's opinions on what features or services you would
find valuable?
Also, for you shop owners, how valuable do you find services such as
online appointment booking, and appointment confirmation services?
