Clothing/tee shirt Printing Techniques...

Hi there....
I am interested in clothing design and stuff of that nature. I have a
question, what different types of techniques are there in regards to
printing tee–shirts or printing designs on any clothing for that
matter? I know there is screen printing, what does that mean? What
are the differences between the types? Thanks for the information!
