What alternative terms are there for utilitarian chic?

Help me please with search terms to look up utilitarian chic – that
minimalist look where function matters as much as fashion.
What else is it called other than utilitarian chic?

Fashion IS function. A suit may not be the ideal garment to build a house
or run a race in, but shorts or overalls won't get you very far in business
or formal society. Function is always context specific.

I'm thinking the OP has in mind something more like the designs by
Yeohlee. If you google her you'll see what I think he has in mind.
But I don't know what else to call this kind of fashion besides
utilitarian chic.
Bonnie Cashin also designed some of her things as "utilitarian," i.e.
coats with pockets that were actually more like saddle bags built into
the coat itself. Sounds bulky and clunky but actually wasn't. She was
trying to allow women the freedom of not needing to carry a bag all the
time.
