I was disappointed at the price for this kit and I passed on it. I've
been more drawn to Laura Geller's kits lately and I love her mascara
more than any other I've used in the last few years. I did however,
purchase a new blush from BE at Sephora last week and I'm happy with
that.

Same here. I think they went way way over what ppl want to pay for a
tsv kit. Too many items. I think they would've done better to just
stick with the mineral makeup and let gals just get their feet wet.
Btw, so glad I tried the Breezies bra offer on their recent tsv. May
order more. Comfy, good, fit, good price.

Uh–oh––– wish you hadn't said that. I'll be watching. Also, I keep
hearing how great the Mirenesse one is too from HSN. What is it about
the Geller that you love?

Mirenesse is very good, but pricey and when you think about how quickly
you can go through a tube of mascara, it's hard to justify the price.
I really like Laura Geller's mascara. It's a nice glossy black and the
double–ended mascara has lash builder on one end and the mascara on the
other. It lasts all day without smudging or flaking off. I got mine
in one of her try–me kits. Just go to www.qvc.com and go to Laura's
kits. They are reasonable and her make–up is fabulous. I love her
face spackle under my foundation.

What is the advantage of the spackle? Will it fill in enlarged pores?

ITA. It used to be that these were a really good deal in terms of what you
got and the price charged. Not so much anymore, IMHO. Plus, I found that
brushless mascara was unusable, at least by me. Not sure who is able to
apply mascara with just a grooved stick, but it's definitely someone other
than myself. Again, IMHO. :P

Take out the NOT to get the correct email address.

Hi Michele, definitely a YMMV/IMHO thing. I MUCH prefer the grooved
stick to the brush, and will now have to consider trying this mascara.
I got hooked on Helena Rubenstein mascara in the 60s and 70s, which
was basically a grooved metal wand, and ever since it is my HG of
applicators.

PS, I just checked out the Brushless Mascara review on MUA, and am
getting ready to RUN RUN RUN to Ulta to get me some. Applicator looks
very much like my dear long lost Helena Rubenstein.

I remember that HR mascara in early sixties – it smelled like
shoepolish, but sure went on like a dream. I should have held onto
that applicator!! Maybe dh has something similar out in the tool
shed.....
I will def. have to try this product.

I purchased the physicians formula mineral foundation at the local
pharmancy for about $11...it's pretty good I must say. It comes with a
tiny little compact brush and the additional brush I bought isn't very
good so I will go to the mall to get a brush. But I was impressed with
the foundation– it really lasts and doesn't look cakey.

update: My local Ulta does not carry the BE Brushless Mascara. Is
this only available through BE and QVC?
