Crazy Dillards Sales

"Lew" <...@inorbit.com>
End of season fire sales. Twice a year. Most winter and fall stuff is
slashed %75. Then they do weekend of additional %50 off. So they are
selling it off for %12 of retail. I picked up a nice Cremieux suit set
for about 25 bucks. Fine with me, but how do these companies make their
margin? Of course the original retail is marked up very high to begin
with. Not that I care particularly what profits they're making. 25 buck
cashmere sweaters, Splurged a 100 dollars on a 500 dollar retail
leather bomber jacket, Cremieux again, that was only marked down %50
plus another %50. It's a great piece. 2.50 scarfs. 7 dollar jeans –
good ones. A Kors sportcoat blazer for 50 Dollar and a swell Kors
overcoat for another 50. It adds up but what crazy bargains.
