2 p.m. 65 degrees and the most recent storm of the century has just
begun. We have had a few light bands of rain and then some hail but not
as much rain as other areas of the state. This morning on my way home
from my morning walk I approached two tree trimmers at a neighbor's
house and asked for an estimate on two huge pines. I thanked them for
their outrageous bid and 30 minutes later two guys knocked on the door
offering to do the job for $300 less. Is this cofarb bucks? Luckily
for them they just finished since the one did all of the cutting by
climbing himself. The other guy was the cleanup man. I did service
club work, fixed jambalaya for dinner and went off to my noon meeting.
