check out the deep conditioner article on the cover /home page of

would be good to start there with deep conditionng your hair at least 1x a
month
then try leave in conditioners.. also anything that is thermal protectant.
alterna's hemp line is excellent.. ditto the pHuse add in treatment. Pure
Strength has some nice stuff to.
Sexy Hair Concepts ditto

Stevie, have you tried S factor product? I bought a $10 sample kit of
four products from my stylist. I like all of them but they are more
expensive than the Redken I normally use. There is a nice leave in for
taming frizzy hair and it has a slight shimmer.

Not sure where you live, but I love John Frieda's products, both for
straightening and for color treated hair. My other favorite hair line
is Matrix.

I was in the same boat as you – I color my hair every 4 weeks and I was
using my blow dryer and straightening iron 4–6 days per week. One day I was
running late for work so I let my hair air dry into my natural curls. I got
so many compliments, I decided to let it stay curly – for now :)
I use Redken Color Extend shampoo and conditioner. I have the color veil
spray but I'm not as conscientious about using it as I should be (protects
from UV rays). I put Fekkai Wave Creating spray in when it's not quite dry,
then I use a diffuser just to help set the curls. I spray more wave spray,
then finish with a bit of Aveda humectant pomade if the weather is
particularly dry outside.
I've seen some new products that are supposed to work with the heat of your
blowdryer and straightening iron to protect and set your hair. If and when
I go back to using those tools, I'd like to try them.
