best brushes?

"readandpostrosie" <readandp...@yahoo.com>
i am currently using powders (bronzers and cheek rouge) and would like some
suggestions on brushes to use.
walgreens?

the full size "Sonia Kashuk" brushes at Target are good quality
they are soft and does well to blend your makeup
the brushes are fuller and much softer / silky than the "cheap" ones,
so if you have a smaller face, you might go with the eyelid brush
instead of the regular blush or cheek brush which might be a bit larger
for your face to properly apply and control the brush, for example.
most low priced brushes just "spread and streak" the make up instead
of blending. so far been happy with the "Sonia Kashuk" full size
brushes. i have not tried or own any of their compact or miniture
versions of their brushes so dont know if they are worth you time or
money.

If you want to pay for good quality – MAC
On a budget? Sonia Kashuk at Target
Travelling with it? Sephora has a great collpsable blush brush.

I have––and love––a couple Chanel brushes. I've also gotten some nice ones
at Sally Beauty, very reasonably priced.
Keeping them clean and unsmooshed is really helpful. I try to clean my
brushes at least every couple of weeks, and I always wash my travel brushes
as soon as I return from a trip.

I love my Trish McEvoy brush. It was over thirty dollars just for a blush
brush, but it's got better bristles and is more comfortable with it's handle
than any brush I've ever used. I used to buy brush kits at JCPenney or
Walgreens, but now that I've met my Trish, those days are OVER!!! Also love
my Chanel Foundation brush. Awesome, awesome brush. The Bare Escentuals
small Kabuki brush is cool, too. Better for powders, but still works pretty
good for blushes or even certain eyeshadows. I'm just finished using
ANYTHING with synthetic bristles.

Do the bristles shed? That's my worst pet peeve about the economical
brushes. I had an awful one by Prestige and it shed every time I used it so
I tossed it.
