Delightful and hard to find old technical manual on wigmaking .
Illustrated throughout with lovely period illustrations ,also some
great old advertising.Extremely thorough .
A few headings of the many subjects covered.:– Diamond parting /
Implements used / Preparation of hair /Creoling/ Creping /Paris &
Frizzettes /Weaving /Marteau Top switches /Grading colours in postiches
/Knotting a crown etc. Covers both male and female wigs,although mainly
female.
