OT: Super Bowl entertainment

"ahmward" <nospam.ahmw...@yahoo.com>
Yes, this is a bit about fashion and entertainment.
Didn't Mick Jagger look extremely fashionable on stage? The outfit was
perfect and perfect for the occasion. Should Charlie Watt have worn a
black tee shirt or not? I loved the pregame entertainment with Joss
Stone, Stevie Wonder and others as well as Aretha and Aaron Neville
singing the Star Spangled Banner. This was so much better than Justin
and Janet.

Mick definitely looked fashionable, although I could barely hear him. Lot
of belly glimpses. He certainly is in remarkable shape.

As for the sound, we definitely knew it was a live performance. I have
a dvd set that shows part of his workout routine. It is quite rigorous.

It was perfect for the occasion, and perfect for Mick. I'm not quite
so sure that anyone else could pull it off ... esp not outside a club
setting.

Nope, I loved his shirt. I thought it might as much of a statement as
Mick's but in a different way.

We missed eveything before Aretha. One (8 years old) was invited to
his first Super Bowl party (well, first half party anyway!), so DH and
I celebrated by going out for a genuine adult dinner.
But, IMHO, and leaving aside the whole nip–slip (kids are going to be
scarred for life by seeing 1/8 second of a nipple, but those incessant
Viagra etc commercials were just fine?), just about anything is better
than Justin and Janet.

Mick was great.
I loved the lips shaped stage.
I don't know what to think of Aretha's fur jacket.
Was she give the jacket as a gift? It didn't seem, to me, like
something she'd wear.

Ds, age 5, said, "Mommy, I think he outgrew his shirt!", lol!
