Looking for VERY pale blush

alicix...@hotmail.com
I am looking for a blush I can wear that's basically a combination of
Benefit Dandelion AND Georgia. This time of year–– especially on top of
the sunscreen I wear–– anything else looks too dark and too bright.
Pink with a bare touch of peach would be my ideal color. Is there
something that looks like both Dandelion and Georgia? I'm not averse to
shimmer, but would probably be better off without it.
Thanks!

Guerlain Meteorites maybe? The red pastel would have been perfect for you
as the balls are both pink, peach with a little mauve thrown in– . It's a
really subtle blush, that covers both bases and it's not very shimmery. I
think the red pastel was a limited edition though :(. Since the meteorites
are based on multi–colors maybe there's still one for you out there (maybe
the original one or winter radiance?). Just fyi, the product is perfumed.
It smells really nice though and fades quickly.
I loosen the lid a little, shake the containter, and swirl my brush in the
lid to get an even wash from the multicolored balls (instead of swirling my
brush directly in the product).
Pricey ($48), but just in time for Valentine's day ;)!

Chanel Caprice might work. Chanel also makes a loose powder––I think it's
called Rose Dusk or something like that––that is very pale. Both of these
are probably closer to Dandelion, i.e., cool pink rather than warm. Both
are matte. If it was still available, I'd say Origins Pulp Fiction. It was
my holy grail blush but it is, sadly, gone.

Thank you for the Guerlain and Chanel suggestions–– I've seen Caprice
mentioned before, but never seen it in person. I'll have to take a
closer look.
There is a Guerlain counter at a store near me–– I had tried a low–end
product similar to the one mentioned (maybe Physician's Formula?) and
it was definitely very sheer.
I appreciate the help!

Paula Dorf powder blush in Angel might be what you're looking for.
It's pale, non–shimmery, and adds a subtle color that is not obviously
pink or peach.

I have one from Paula Dorf that's exactly what you're talking about. It's
very pale. I can't recall the name of the color, but when I find it, I'll
post it. With any luck, it's been discontinued, though. I bought it at
Nordstrom on sale not too long ago. It's a very pale light pink/peach shade.
Really soft and pretty.

Have you looked at Stila's Fade? It gives me just a little bit of
color, and no shimmer.

I do own Fade–– it's actually a little bit too much for me this time of
year (even lightly applied). It looks much better in the spring/summer.
I may have found a drugstore blush that will work–– the newer L'Oreal
true matches, in the shade supposedly for C1–2 (cool toned, I think,
under L'Oreal's system). All of the true match shades look warm toned
to me; this one is called Baby Blossom, I think, and is "pinker" than
some of the other colors.
I'm planning on test–driving the Guerlain and Chanel when I visit the
mall this weekend.

I forgot to mention another Chanel option. They make (or made?) a stick
blush that is very pale with a slight shimmer. It has a high water
content––so it goes on cool.

I have Fade too, which is also a bit much for my pale skin this time of
year. Hint is *perfect* though! Give it a shot.

I took a look today at the Meteorites, Hint from Stila–– but no
Caprice, at least around here. One Chanel SA told me that she thinks
the color has been discontinued. I also looked at the new Benefit
Dallas, which is beautiful–– it may be gorgeous in the summer when I'd
like a bronze look but not a "tan" look. Dallas has a definite
rose/mauve undertone and the powder is as fine–milled as Dandelion and
Georgia (I do like both of those a lot). Years ago I wore a "bronzer"
duo from Clinique that was really pink–toned and Dallas reminded me a
bit of that. It was much more flattering than the other bronzers I've
tried, which tend to exaggerate the little bit of freckling I've got on
my cheeks.
I'm not sure about the Meteorites–– I couldn't really tell that I had
anything on other than a little bit of highlighter. The counter didn't
have a tester of the pink shade for me to try–– only the original,
which is much lighter and cooler with lavender and white "perles".
Hint looked great on, and I'll probably try it one more time before I
"jump in". It may be what I've been looking for in terms of a daily
blusher.
Thanks for all of the suggestions!

Angel by Paula Dorf is a good pale one.

GACK! My Caprice is discontinued?! I hate when that happens. (I looked at
chanel.com and it isn't there. I had been feeling greedy about stocking up;
I bought two or three "extras" a couple years ago on ebay.) Fortunately,
Dandelion works for me in winter, Georgia in summer... Nothing will ever
make up for the disappearance of Origins Pulp Fiction, imho.
