What are *you* wearing today?

"ahmward" <nospam.ahmw...@yahoo.com>
54 degrees morning and evening fog The mountains are covered with a
blanket of snow on top and look spectacular. This morning I made a
turkey rice soup since the family will watch the Rose Bowl on television
this evening and we need a quick meal. I unfortunately have a meeting
at 7 p.m. I took a car load of donations to the thrift shop from the
youngest child who has decided it is time to thoroughly clean her room.
We had lunch with my son and soon I leave for work.

A Christmas gift from my boyfriend. :–) It's a triangle cut emerald
on a yellow gold band that is split into 2 pieces which criss–cross
each other in a kind of sideways 'X'. The stone is set off center and
below the middle of the x, and top half of one band is set with small
princess cut emeralds in a channel setting, and the bottom half of that
band is set with round cut diamonds in the same channel setting. It's
much more delicate than it sounds.
"M" <aliasrep...@yahoo.com>
Sounds lovely and somewhat modern. Very nice :).
Nadya <na...@spam.net>
I had two hour meeting this morning in a conference room that is always

58 degrees very dense morning fog so I slept in till 6:30 and am still
in periwinkle sweats. I have a pedicure at 10 a.m. and then the
youngest child and I may try to see Brokeback Mountain, which opened
today in theaters farthhest from our home. I guess the movie management
near home figured the locals wouldn't want to see it. Every single
theater complex is now owned by the same company. If we don't go today,
I'll finish a few household tasks and then start stocking my new jewelry

61 degrees Today sucked. I had a 9 a.m. dentist appt. and the hygenist
found a tiny spot she couldn't clean. It turned out to be a cavity so
my appt. was two hours and I left with one big filling. I was a big
girl and had no novocaine because the dentist promised he could do it
without hurting me. Then I bought coffee and a few food items to send
to my daughter's friend in Ecuador. I was at the post office close to
noon. There were 30 people in line and a postal worker yelled at us to
keep the inside door closed. She yelled a lot so I guess she was going
postal. I also had banking and another errand so I was home for lunch
at 1:30 and left for work one hour later. Some dumb parent blocked the
driveway double parking so I had to enter the school lot the wrong way
and the final straw was I bought the kids a can of popcorn at Walgreens
that was impossible to open. The tape came off in slivers. So much for
today! Inconveniences but no one died, was sick or arrested.

Ok .....deep breath.......how do you know that pantsuit? I have like a
zillion black pantsuits of which you constantly remind me when I go to

I bought it at a great sale back when Jil was still designing, but it

match
*rainbow striped turtleneck (Target) underneat the hoodie
*white socks (Peds)
*white New Balanace walking shoe tennis shoes with velcro closures (I have

and I got those in last Friday...I wear them with a store–made–orthodic
until I can get "real" custom ones made for my feet and I go back to the
podiatrist in 2 weeks to see about getting them made! yaaaaay!!)
Jewelry: sterling silver tiny cross necklace (Target), teal wristband watch
(Walmart...i love having fun watches that match outfits!! I have about 10
watches actually that are all cheap but work and are very cute when paired
with the "right clothes"!) and sterling silver "medium sized" h00p earrings

Very foggy again this morning (although not as bad as yesterday which
was pretty amazing), sunny and in the 60s later. Gorgeous for January!
For the office and then the trip over the Blue Ridge (where tomorrow
we'll go to an RV show since The Engineer thinks it's time to upgrade!
woohoo! We are hopeful we'll find something we like.)
black flat front stretch twill trousers
white square neck sleeve shirt
deep turquoise chiffon double length scarf, long beaded fringe (same
color, tiny iridescent turquoise beads with small pale iridescent
turquoise rectangular paillettes at the end of each fringe piece)
black loafers with silver buckle detail
diamond heart necklace (round cut diamonds in a yellow gold setting)
antique sapphire and diamond dinner ring
new emerald and diamond ring
silver faced watch (elongated rounded rectangular face––like an old TV
set) with a row of rhinestones on both sides on a pale pink leather
band
for outside: black 3/4 length all weather coat, single breasted, faux
fur collar (waaay to warm for today, but we are slotted to go below
freezing and have snow, yes snow after days in the 60s tomorrow and
I'll need it)

THE DAY AFTER MLK DAY: Woke up early, got to work at 6:00. Did some
wrap–up work (there's a lot of stuff we generated last year). Had a
doctor appointment... in and out in 25 minutes, and that INCLUDED
taking blood for an potassium–level check. Came home, watched TV a
while and fed myself. For the day:
Yellow polo shirt
Blue denim chinos
Nike Air Presto Praia iD sneakers (yellow/brown)
