My daughter has similar hair structure. She uses Neutrogena
Therapeutic T/Gel Shampoo, but she alternates it with other shampoos,
since her hair is also color treated (she and I both like the John
Freida products).

I used the Nioxin in the past but it made my hands break out something
awful.

If Nioxin does everything else you want, could you try shampooing hair
with latex gloves on? Might help with your hands.

I agree with Jules. You can get powder free latex gloves at most drug
stores and the store brand is inexpensive. I have a friend with very
fine hair and Nioxin makes her hair look thick and full.
"Piper" <jamiekatee...@yahoo.com>
I tried that too, kept some nice blue latex free gloves but my hands still
broke out...i am VERY sensitive.

Actually the brand that Santa David sent to me was Sebastian. Pink and
black bottles, Body Double shampoo and conditioner. Still like these
products and now my husband is using them also.

If you have tried Nioxin this product will help with scalp issues, as well
as protecting your color.

I've never had scalp issues, but I second the Nioxin for color retention.
It's great for color treated hair. Very mild and smells great. Their scalp
therapy conditioner is also really great if your hair responds poorly to
static or gets frizzy a lot. It's expensive, though. I'd get the big 34 oz.
bottle or at least a 20 ouncer. The small bottles will set you back a bit in
cost and since their shampoo isn't very thick, you'll use it up quite fast,
most likely. Smells so refreshing and nice, too. I love Nioxin. I even have
a Nioxin hairbrush!

I use a shampoo by DeLorenzo for sensitive scalps. I love it and I buy
several litres at a time. It is not cheap but nothing else works on my
sensitive scalp.

Seems it is an Australian product so I'm not sure whether you can get it
in the US, but it really works for me and I'm stickin' to it!
