Make reservations at Le Tire Bouchon (45 Graham Street) for an awesome meal.
Then, work up an appetite and head to Phoenix Restaurant (29 Shelley Street)
for a heavenly meal.
Enjoy!

I was just there in Oct05, but I had a Cantonese tour guide who did all the
talking/ordering for me, so all the restuarants/shops are a blur.

How adventurous are you re: food? If you are adventurous, you can try
ducking into the tiny local restaurant/coffeeshops and sign languaging your
way through an order. If you want a slightly more English friendly setting,
the Crystal Jade restaurants are great –– I recommend the soup dumplings and
the cold duck.
I personally didn't really like the Ladies Market (lots of open stalls) for
clothes –– I had more success with small local shops –– but the Ladies
Market is good for cell phone accessories and inexpensive houseware (e.g.
Silk table runners and lovely wooden chopsticks). OTOH, my teenage sister
loved the Ladies Market for clothes.

Didn't go to any and didn't see any when wandering around.

I highly recommend *against* buying such items in HK. They're not
significantly cheaper, and you won't get any warranty protection after
you're back in the US. However, load up on cheap electronics accessories
(e.g. Ipod skins, headphones) and skincare!
Thanks in advance for any info....

High tea at the Peninsula Hotel with a string trio playing in the
background...the ultimate in luxury for the late afternoon
We have eaten at Jumbo, the floating restaurant, shopped at Stanley
Market, followed the recs in the most recent Born to Shop Hong Kong and
delighted in the sights of the city. Chinese Arts & Crafts is a
wonderful store to purchase gifts as well as items for yourself.
Embroidered silk cosmetic bags make great affordable evening clutches. I
have beautiful jewelry from Hong Kong and never felt I was steered to a
bad buy.
