L'Oreal's "Hip" Collection?

Anybody try this? Saw it yesterday at Harmon and got all kinds of
excited because they're promoting the eye shadow duos as being heavily
pigmented. I immediately thought these might be a less spendy
alternative to my beloved Awake Million Brilliance shadows but after
testing on my hand I don't think the L'Oreal are in the same league To
be fair, though, I'm not at all clear if these are supposed to be
applied with brush or fingers (the Awake are *only* to be applied with
fingers, which is why I'm loving them).
This is a complete line, btw, including foundations, blushes, cheek
highlighters, lipsticks and glosses.

Saw this for the very first time in the Walgreen's supplement that came
in today's paper, and it piqued my interest. Would love to hear any AF
info.
