Yesterday was not going well for me. I had to pick up a certified letter at
the post office, which I wasn't looking forward to anyway, and I realized I
left my wallet at home. Since I've had to show ID to pick up mail before, I
squeezed in a trip home in the free 30 mins that I had. As I pulled up, I
saw a package stuck behind my mailbox since it didn't fit in the box itself.
Once I saw it said AFSS on it, I made myself late to my next meeting so I
could open it :)
It was beautifully wrapped first in a festive red box from the post
office, then an elegantly wrapped box with burgundy velvet ribbon and
holly(?) sprigs. Once opened, there was a nice card/note from Jafri on top
of the tissue paper. I lifted the tissue to see lots of candies, all in
peanut butter/chocolate, my favorite combo! I immediately tore into the
Reese's cups while opening the rest of the gifts.
First was a body butter from a company called Cookie Cutouts. I ripped into
that to smell it before moving on to the next package. It was a Cookie
Cutouts body lotion followed by a Cookie Cutouts candle. Jafri did her
homework to know I love foodie scents, particularly baked goods.
Next was a beautiful coral/pink/white beaded bracelet followed by the
matching necklace and earrings in a separate box. Jafri noted in her card
that she wanted to get me something to go with my red hair and they
certainly do! I wore them today with a pale pink horseshoe neck Tshirt and
got lots of compliments!
Last but not least, she included an Old Navy magic towel and some samples
from Terax, Sisley and agnes b.
I've emailed Jafri privately but I had to share my haul with all of you as
well! Thank you again Santa Jafri for a great package and thanks to
Jennifer for organizing the event again (and letting me join late!).
