RANT: Macy's Shipping

One my guys decided he wanted to get gifts for some people at work. I
said Macy's gift cards. I ordered $400 of them on–line and they said,
"Choose 2nd Day Delivery for Delivery by Christmas". I do that and
get a confirmation an hour later that they will not SHIP until Friday
the 23rd. Now...shouldn't an in–stock item like a gift card be able
to be sent sooner? Was going to do the e–gift cards, but they can't
be used at a B&M Macy's, which is LAME. So...it looks like the cards
won't make it here until AFTER Christmas.
I am bugged.

Shipping must be backed up and they are probably short of help :(
