Need new scent for boyfriend – help!

"Lipgloss Junkie" <lipglossjun...@gmail.com>
Hi all!
I'd like to find a new scent for my boyfriend. We got him a bottle of
Clinique Happy for men a couple of summers ago and it's stuck. I like
the fresh citrusy scent but would like to buy him something new.
Any suggestions for what I should try next for him? I don't want to go
too woodsy or spicy but would like to get away from the citrus (kind of
soapy) smell.
Any thoughts on what I should go out and smell this weekend? I want him
to smell yummy.
Thanks!

Well, my husband is into Armani Code these days. And he also wore
Clinique Happy For Men most of last year. So maybe your boyfriend
might like it too.

I'm addicted to the men's version of Lolita Lempicka (I prefer it to the
women's, even for myself). It's not as sweet as the women's version and
the anise is more pronounced so if you don't like the smell of anise,
scratch that. I like the smell, although I'm picky about its use in
food. Love it in desserts. Loathe it if it's noticeable in savory dishes
(like Chinese food with a lot of star anise in it).
I tend to dislike most men's fragrances and the only unisex one I like
is yet another citrus (Hermes Orange Verte).

check out luckyscent.com
Frank Los Angeles has two different scents.. one fresh, one more spicey
also there are other fab scents.. a lot of comme des garcon and Nelli
rodi, Keiko Mecheri (the ultimate in unisex stuff) and Ulrich Lang
which I love quite a bit..
you can buy a slew of samples and have him choose

I don't think this is TOO woodsy, even though it is kind of in that
category, but my boyfriend likes Mat; Male by Masaki Matsushima. We
found it at Nordstrom, though I'm not seeing it on their site.

Hi all!
I'd like to find a new scent for my boyfriend.
My DH likes Ralph Lauren Polo BLUE. It's not the Polo Sport, but Polo Blue.
The site describes it as:
An invigorating blend of Melon de Cavaillon, Basil Verbena and Washed Suede.

I'm in love with Creed's Irish Tweed. Smell's fresh like grass and
lime's. I know they carry it at some Sak's stores.

I'm trying to stick to readily department store/duty free available so
I'll check into the Polo Blue. I've also heard the men's Lacoste
fragrance is nice.
I'm on a mission this weekend – we'll see what I find.

I didn't realize there was now a men's Lempicka. I'm going to try it!
I like the Kenneth Cole men's scent. And, like Stacey, Hermes Orange Verte.

Try Polo Black or Kenneth Cole Black.... Izzie M is good too.

So I went out and smelled lots of men's fragrances. Since the bf
already wears somthing fairly light (Happy) I thought I'd keep it in
that family.
I smelled Polo Blue, Allure Sport and a few others. The winner was Hugo
Boss Energise. It starts out with fruity (sort of citrus) notes and
winds up smelling spicy but in a nice smooth way. Now I hope he likes
it!

I smelled the Polo Black and it seemed heavier to me. Very smokey and
woodsey. Nice, but a little too different from what he wears now.
Now I can't wait till Christmas when he starts wearing it.
