I have to admit that I have had several pairs of the "imitation" Keds type
tennis shoes from Walmart/Target/Kmart and I thought that they were quite
comfortable...but in reality they were wrecking my feet!! Now I have
Plantar Fasciitis and I could never, ever wear those kind of shoes again. I
am not saying that they are related, but I think that the shoes at Walmart
that are really inexpensive have poor arch support and a lot of
problems...and if you, yourself, have any sort of foot problems at all, I
would advise you to stay away from Walmart shoes. It's weird, coz they have
a lot of "cute" shoes at those Target/Walmart/Kmart type stores, but as for
the function of those shoes, well how does that saying go about "form and
function"?? Not trying to start a flame war here, just my 2 cents...and
webtv has nothing to do with anything, it's just a way to get onto the
Internet...webtv is not related to what you wear on your feet or where you
shop.

Okay, I googled for "puli" and came up with a picture of a mophead.
Then I checked out Carla's nomination for worst shoe, and all I can think of

I have to admit that I have had several pairs of the "imitation" Keds
type tennis shoes from Walmart/Target/Kmart and I thought that they
were quite comfortable...but in reality they were wrecking my feet!!
Now I have Plantar Fasciitis and I could never, ever wear those kind
of shoes again. I am not saying that they are related, but I think
that the shoes at Walmart that are really inexpensive have poor arch
support and a lot of problems...and if you, yourself, have any sort of
foot problems at all, I would advise you to stay away from Walmart
shoes. It's weird, coz they have a lot of "cute" shoes at those
Target/Walmart/Kmart type stores, but as for the function of those
shoes, well how does that saying go about "form and function"?? Not
trying to start a flame war here, just my 2 cents...and webtv has
nothing to do with anything, it's just a way to get onto the
Internet...webtv is not related to what you wear on your feet or where
you shop.

Kristin, my father was a children's shoe manufacturer so he knew a lot
about shoe construction. He would always say to wear a shoe with good
arch support. I've bought and worn shoes from Target but they are not
the shoes I wear all day. I may wear them for an hour or two, but
that's it. I donated my pink suede mocassins to the thrift store
because as cute as they were, my feet were aching after I wore them.

That is my experience with those types of shoes too, not only in that price
range, but with all shoes w/o good arch support in general. I don't want to
give away my "other" shoes yet coz maybe I can wear them for an hour or 2
and besides that, I am a major packrat, but I know what you are saying about
your feet aching!! And, I think that that was rather admirable of you to
donate them b/c I remember your old posts about how cute you thought those
shoes were and how excited you were to get them.

PS: Plz excuse my typo's; I am going back to re–read most of my posts 3X b4
sending them b/c I make so many typo's with the pain meds I am on. So,
again, my apologies to everyone on this group for my double vision
probs/typo's.

that's what i did, and the search returned nothing. it said
there was no such item number, nor was there ever (i checked
finished auctions, too). that's why i was hoping someone would
post an URL.
oh, well, i guess i'll never get to see it...

Strange. I just searched completed auctions and you can't access the thing.
It was pretty awful, that's for sure.
