Secret Santa Arrives!

DH came home with a box – handed it to me and said "well, it isn't ticking"
<g>.
I want you all to know that I managed to resist its siren song for 24
minutes before giving in and ripping the box open to find:
A L'Occitane Shopping Bag (a hint that wonderful things were about to be
uncovered) containing the cutest burgundy flannel (satin lined) evening bag
with silver piping and an adorable beaded clasp that holds the most heavenly
smelling Vanilla bath gel, coconut butter for very dry skin (gonna have a
problem keeping that away from #2 daughter), Vitamin E moisture cream in a
purse sized container that has a faint aroma of summer roses, and a lovely
pale pink MLBB lip gloss (both the last are already in my favourite vintage
"everyday" Coach bag). All these are from The Body Shop – a favourite of
mine for their wonderful scents and lack of animal testing.
Then . . . a L'Occitane gift bag containing blissful lavender bath salts and
soaps that are already in my bag for the week I'll be away covering CES in
January. It's such a treat to come back to the hotel and soak in luxury
after a hectic day!
Last, but certainly not least, were samples of more lovely goodies (I can
already see that my next Sephora order will include the Almond Milk Crème)
and the funniest card I've seen this season with a sweet note.
Lourdes, you overwhelmed me, and gave a huge lift to a day that desperately
needed some sunshine.
