Cheap Thrills....

Among things at the local Target and Walgreen's that one might find
interesting...
*Suave Naturals body lotion in "Cotton Bloom" They also make a matching
body wash. This is their best scent yet! It smells very fresh & clean.
*Designer Imposters of Britney Spears "Curious" called 2HOT. I think that
this smells better than the real thing and is attractively priced! I think
that it's an outrage how much Jessica Simpson's line and Britney's perfume
are selling for, considering their target market age. I used to really like
JS Desserts but it was a quick infatuation that passed...
*Very, Very, New SEXY, But Subtle, VANILLA (long name, eh??) body
spray...comes in a deoderant–aerosol type bottle. This is a great smelling
vanilla!! I had to pick up 2 bottles of it after going through my first
one. It was hard to find at first, but now it's getting a little easier to
find...
*White Rain Cocoa Butter body lotion...this smells luscious, like
chocolate–y good! And only one buck, too!!
*Burts Bees Honey Lipbalm...this must be a new and improved version. I
always liked the original, but this one is soooo good!! My local Walgreens
in Sauk Rapids is usually always out of it, or only 1 or 2 tubes remaining
for purchase.
Well, I hope that I didn't offend or bother anyone with my low–end
treasures...I am, after all, a low–end maven (lol). If anyone tries any of
these products and likes them, post here or email me plz! :–)

I went to a Long's Drug Store to have 10 extra family photos printed.
This is not my usual Long's but one about a mile away that was remodeled
last summer. Wow! There is a huge section of natural products, many of
which are sold at Whole Foods. There are beautiful makeup displays, all
sorts of gift items and I wa so impressed as I walked around the store.
My purchases aren't too exciting but I bought
2 tubes of Maybelline moisture extreme lipstick for the girls $5 each.
The colors are roseberry and crushed cranberry.
very nice birthday candles There was a huge assortment. We will
celebrate the three younger Ward birthdays just after Christmas.
Clearasil ultra acne clearing scrub for the boy to try once a week.
50% a square decorative box with old fashioned vintage grapes. I am
going to use it to store my many makeup samples.

I really like the tinted Burts Bees lipbalm. Is the honey a clear
gloss? Or more of a Chapstick–type thing?

my definite cheap and cheerful product would have to be the Boots own
brand Cucumber cleansing lotion. There's a whole line–––toner, day and
night cream but the cleanser is especially great. Several celebs use
it, including Sarah Jessican Parker, who bought it recently while on a
trip to London to promote her "Lovely" perfume at Harvey Knicks.

Maurey, do you think it is a good product for sensitive skin? I don't really
have a cleanser that I'm in love with at the moment and as I am moving to
London this will be readily available to me.
Is it sad that I told my fiance how excited I was that we would be living
within walking distance of the big Boots on Ken High Street? He looked at
me as if I were nuts! I always made pilgrimmages to that location when I
was visiting London.

Thanks for the info & the congrats! Heavily fragranced might not work for
me – I get migraines from perfume and some heavily fragranced skincare. I
am going to have to practice some serious shopping self–control given our
location!
