"lk3...@yahoo.com" <lk3268@yahoo.com>
Im soo in love with these flats. Tell me what you think.

I think I would get the green or beige. They are just so cute and
would look awesome with jeans for a casual day. Has anyone seen them
cheaper? I know they retail for about $400, so i guess $200 isnt so bad

Since they have so many available, how do you determine authenticity?

Exactly..
They're cute but email the seller and ask for more details – i.e. which
'high–end' store went bankrupt and check to see if it's true.
Also email the seller and get her/him to guarantee authenticity. Nowhere in
this auction is it listed that these are *authentic Chanel*... very
important that those two words are linked...not just 'authentic' or
'Chanel'.

I was ripped off big time on Ebay when buying some Chanel flats. The
seller sent me two different colors of beige, the box said a different
size than the box in the auction. No dust bag. ...... I reported it
to Pay Pal and the seller contacted me. The seller told me to return
the shoes and they would fix the problem, I returned them, never
received a refund. Too many days went by and Pay Pal couldn't get me a
a refund. This was a few years ago and today you have better
protection.

I don't even know if Im going to get them yet. Once I decide, I will
figure out what to do about authencity. I was just asking what other
people thought about them. You have to admit they are very cute though!

I took a look at the auction and checked out the seller's feedback. This
person has only one feedback from a buyer. All the others are from sellers.
I would be extremely cautious about buying such a high priced item from a
very inexperienced seller, especially since the seller is located in Canada,
where shipping can be very slow.
I know you weren't asking for all this ebaying advice, but a.f.ers are very
aware of the pitfalls of buying items––especially items which may be
conterfeit––on ebay.
(The shoes are cute.)

Thanks for all your help. Im not very experinced with buying from
Ebay, but I love designer clothes. I just don't want to pay alot for
them. I would rather pay 200 than 400. However, I dont want them if
they arent real. Thanks for all your help.

If you have a high–end consignment store near you, I would visit there a
few times and get to know the owner. She'll let you know what is
authentic and what to look for to distinguish between authentic and
rips. The one in my area always tells me (and everyone) when something
is faux. (You can tell by the prices too). She'll also keep her eyes
open for what you're looking for once she knows your taste.
I always tell her any taste I have comes strictly from her!
She won't sell me anything that looks frumpy or bad on me, even if I
like it. She's a doll.
I bought two pairs of authentic Chanel flats from her, dustbags and all.
One pair was gently worn and was $75 and the other was new and only
$100.

I like the quilting patern, but the huge C's are a turn off for me
