Dansko clogs = happier feet for me

"lilacjennifer" <screws...@houston.rr.com>
After trying on so many clogs, looking for total comfort and best looking I
could find, I narrowed my search down to a pair of Born's and some Dansko's,
both found at Nordstrom.
The Dansko's won out even though they weren't cushy like the Born's. Got
'em in the oiled brown.
The SA told me that even though they felt hard when I stepped, they would
support my feet all day as the cushy ones would not. Well, he was right, as
strainge as it sounds. They accomodate all of my foot problems as well.
I've got tons of softer insoled shoes but none that feel as comfy at the end
of the day as the firm Dansko's. They have a back on them but the SA said
it was just for looks, that you don't feel the back at all and he was right
about that too.
They actually don't look bad if worn with jeans or really casual cotton
pants. They were $115 but so worth it because I will have them for years.

Welcome to the club! I discovered Danskos several years ago, thanks to
their devoted following on AF. While I've enjoyed my Danskos (and if you're
like most of us, you'll soon enough have several pair), my wife absolutely
sings their praises. She's a teacher and was having all sorts of back and
fot problems before I bought her her first pair of Danskos. She now has a
virtual Dansko wardrobe, and has also added the sandals and a pair of teh
dressier shoes to her collection.

I got a pair of Danskos eons ago and while I don't consider them really
my style, I always wear them at home when I'm standing and cooking for
long stretches of time. Wore 'em for hours on end cooking Thanksgiving
dinner––they truly saved the day for me and my poor, tired feet.

Hang in there, EMiriam – they'll come out with the stilletto heeled black
leather Dansko knee boot yet!

I was so excited about buying my Dansko's about a year ago.I tried them out
and at first they were hard on my feet.I have worn them on and off this past
year but they just kill my feet, by the end of 3 hours or so I can't stand
it anymore.I wasted $120 and was so let down.I'm glad they work for you.
