Number of Plastic Surgeries Rises! Can this trend be stopped?

vasilijepetko...@yahoo.com
Hello All,
Look at the image below, look at that face that endured dozens of
Plastic Surgeries, countless rhiniplasty, chin implants, face lifts,
liposuction, etc. and you will have to ask your self: What the hell is
going on? Why are we doing this to ourselves?
http://www.igman.com/misc/plastic–surgery–risks/
Does social pressure to look young influence the individual to such
extant that he or she will risk their own health (think Michael
Jackson) in order to improve the external appeal and look more
beautiful?
Do these individuals (the ones who resort to i.e. rhinoplasty) consider
possibility of plastic surgery complications?
Plastic surgery complications can range from minor scarring to lethal
fatalities. It is known that the effects of such a surgery can
sometimes be traumatizing to patients and their families in a both
psychical and psychological way.
And, even all these facts are well known, the number of plastic
surgeries performed every year is increasing?
Is there a hope that this trend will be stopped?
Best,
Vasko

Rhinoplasty is a dual–use surgery (it can fix nose problems with plain
old breathing!!!).
Plastic surgery complications can range from minor scarring to
lethal fatalities.
Lethal fatalities... they're much worse than the cases of non–lethal
fatalities. <grin/duck>

No more than the trend of stupid trolls on the Internet.

So, can it be lethal or not?
