How often do you sharpen your MAC powerpoints?

Qintes <rn...@yahoo.com>
I find I have to sharpen mine after every 4th or 5th use. Is that
excessive? MAC is the first pencil eyeliner I've ever used. It was all
about cake liner before the powerpoints.
TIA,
Pam

No it doesn't sound excessive to me, it sounds more on the low side to
me. I guess it depends how much eyeliner you put on. I generally
don't sharpening mine very often, but I'm lazy and I use it when I
want a fairly thick line.
Cake liner, wow hard core. I tried to use cake, but I'm again far too
lazy. And I haven't found the right brush to use w/ cake liner, they
are all far too wimpy.

I sharpened mine fairly often so I switched to MAC fluidlines. It is
more like the Bobbi Brown in the little pots but a lot softer and easier
to use.

I use it until it's too dull to get any kind of line. The powerpoints
are pricey and I hate to go through them that quickly but they dull so fast.

Lol! :D That's funny....it gave me a rush of that "Yea I'm a rebel"
feeling.

I bought an artists brush from a craft store that does a great job.
Thanks Miss Jenney!

I like the fluidlines too. I use brassy as an eyeshadow because it
lasts forever and a day!
Thanks!

You know you've been working way too hard when you read "sharpen your
MAC powepoints" and think "cool, a way to sharpen up my Macintosh
Powerpoint presentations." So sad.

I can apply the line in the morning and it will still be thee in the
evening. I have three, rich ground (light and coppery), the darker
brown and the black one. You can tell the names are too tiny for me to
read. Anyway, I think they are lasting longer than the Bobbi Brown
similar products.

Oh man, someone needs to go out for some retail therapy! Sorry I can't
help with those presentations! ;)

Yup, and I think I'll have to get some this weekend since one big
project is out of the way and the next is delayed.

You are a rebel! Everyone else is trying to do everything quick and
easy, and there you are using cake liner. I do think cake liner always
gives me great results. I have a huge problem w/ smudging, even with
the Powerpoints. I never found I had that problem w/ cake.
You've inspired me not to be so lazy. I'm getting a new brush from the
craft store and when I get all my makeup out of storage, I'm going to
try cake again. I still have a Christian Dior Duo in red and purple I
hardly used. Plus my MAC cake I hardly made a dent in.
Mmmm... cake. It even sounds good.

Haha. You totally made me laugh out loud. I agree with everyone... you
need a break!
I was actually thinking about the name Powerpoint the other day and I
thought it was kind of a cute coincidence.

Well, it's multiple use technology.

Cool! I'm honored to be an inspiration! :) And I have to admit I'm
curious what red cake liner would look like....

The red cake liner isn't very good alone, but basically it comes w/ a
dark purple cake liner and you're supposed to use the red cake liner
outside of the purple. It does look rather cool, but has to be used
carefully. Most people look like they've been crying.
