Seeking a gum–free shampoo

"whitewater262" <uww53...@yahoo.com>
I'm allergic to gum and struggling to find a shampoo I can use.
Most of the commercial ones are too toxic for me, and the natural ones
I've found all contained varrying forms of gum (pectin, cellulose,
carageenan, kelp, and so on).
If anyone could suggest some products, I'd appreciate it. It's been a
frustrating search.

I have no idea if any of the ingredients in this are gum, but you might
want to have a look:

Jessicurl Hair Cleansing Cream ( http://www.jessicurl.com) may work –
I think it has a starch in it (wheat?) but the ingredients are listed
on the site. Made for curly hair, it is very gentle.

Thanks for all of the replies. This has been a frustrating search, and
I appreciate the fact that so many people are trying to help.
The products listed in the thread wouldn't work for me (most of them
contained gum, and there was one other that simply had too many
chemicals... more than I could handle).
You asked about bar shampoo. Maine Coast Herbals (maineherbs.com) and
a handful of other companies make shampoos that come in a bar form
(just like Irish Spring or any of the commercially available soaps you
see at your local grocery store).
The problem with shampoo in bar form is that it tends to be really
harsh. It can strip your hair and leave it lifeless. That's why I'm
here at the group still searching for options. I'm sure there's a
product out there, but it could be like looking for a needle in a
haystack.
If anyone has more ideas, I'll welcome them.
"whitewater262" <uww53...@yahoo.com>
Well, the search continued. None of those products panne dout, so if
anyone has further suggestions, I'd welcome them. There has to be
something out there.
