MAC Problem...HELP!

<valmont32...@aol.com>
Some of you may remember my recent post about my faboo makeover. I am very
careful with my products (and just about everything in general) and I have a
problem...two of my MAC products are messed up! I have a creme eyeshadow
pen that won't "twist up" and I have long wearing lip color that is "usable"
(sorda) but it broke in half, so the gloss is separate from the color. I
don't have my receipt anymore, but I called the counter at Macy's in
Lexington, KY where I got made over and they said they would take it back to
exchange it for the exact same product. But....I can't get back to Kentucky
until December 22nd or so! Do you think they will still honor this verbal
agreement?? I can't believe I lost my receipt coz I am usually really good
at keeping these things all straight and in line. What should I do?? I was
thinking about going to the store (since we don't have any MAC counters
anywhere near me in Minnesota except in Mpls–St Paul which is not an option
to go to, being so very far away and all). Do you think I have a chance of
having the product replaced? I am not trying to get a different product––I
want the exact same product, just one that stays in tact!! Any ideas what
to do or say to the people at the counter? I don't know if the girl who
made me up will remember me. I think that since I spent over $300 for that
makeover, they should replace the products. What do you all think?!
HELP!!!!

why don't you ask if you can send them back, right to the counter? Did
you pay cash or will you have a credit card statement to back you up?
Usually MAC is top notch in fixing these types of problems.

I have returned 2 of the pen type ones for the same reasons, without
receipts and after 3 months and 6 months use.
Sadly I fear the mechanisms in those pens are crap.
I am sure you will not have a problem.

you could see if they will let you mail it back or see if you can mail
it to the Mn stores. I know there is a store and a counter in Nordies
at the MOA.
