What Are these Gloves?

"Justin" <Acurajustin1...@hotmail.com>
These gloves were great.... I got them in college many moons ago.
They have these little traction dots on there making them perfect for
driving. I have a pair of leather gloves, but I don't always want to
break out the leather for a quick run to the store.
So, does anyone know what brand of gloves they are?

I can't tell for sure but they look very much like my gardening gloves.
Really – fabric with those traction dots all over them. They're shaped the
same way too.

Hmmm... Interesting. They were popular when I was in college. Cheap
too.

You would be right. I buy them at WM for less than $5 a pair. If you only
wore them for light protection and never did yard work in them, I'm not
surprised they lasted so long.
It doesn't matter what they're called. If you like them, go buy another
pair.

Here's a dozen pairs for $10: http://tinyurl.com/7pzw3 They may be a
lighter fabric than your pair, though. Here are some plain fleece ones
for $2.99: http://tinyurl.com/d69k5 or with a faux–suede palm:

I have a pair with rubber–like dots on them from REI. They are made of
some type of kind of water–resistant microfiber, and are pretty warm
for how thin they are. They are meant to be worn with a liner, I think
for really cold temps. They were $20, but definitely a step up from
gardening gloves, if you intend to use them for outdoor cold–weather,
snow–sport activities.

They worked well because I didn't use them for snowball fights or
trekking through the Antarctic. I wore them until the car heated up.
But now I think I'll go look for a pair of actual Winter driving
gloves. Dunno what to get though.

I have a pair like this–– I got them at Sears or home depot in the work
glove section. They are black and have plastic like dots for gripping.
