What I bought Today

For the holidays:
DH's Christmas Dinner w/ Partners/Christmas Day:
Chocolate brown asymmetric hem cord skirt (ankle length) with sequin flowers
Blush pink wrap t–shirt to wear with
Got pink suede shoes in the same color and boots in my closet to dress it up
or down.
Blush pink angora sweater –– deep V–neck in case it's chilly.
It needs bling at the neckline. Haven't had time to look yet.
Christmas Eve:
Black lycra horseshoe neckline T–shirt 3/4 sleeves to wear with the
gorgeous knee length black chiffon embroidered skirt I bought last year.
Desperately looking for shoes to finish off the outfit––– any ideas? It's
got a 1940's feel.
DH's Christmas Dinner w/Partners/New Year's Eve:
Long dusty rose taffeta ruffle scarf to wear with my "Le Smoking" (bought in
Antwerp last year) and black velvet evening shoes.
No dresscode yet given for the Christmas Dinner with my husband's business
partners and their wives so it's either the new skirt or the "Le Smoking".
On the 26th we're going to friends––– dresscode,and I kid you not: baggy
sweatpants, baggy sweater and fuzzy slippers. We're going to hang around
listening to old records (they just bought a used turntable), nosh, drink
and play board games all day.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
