What are *you* wearing today

"ahmward" <nospam.ahmw...@yahoo.com>
64 degrees with a major rain storm coming some time this morning Today
I have a manicure, WW meeting and then at 11 a.m. I am meeting with the
central valley manager of a major chain to discuss how his stores and
employees can help my service group clothe more children next year. I
work this afternoon and then DH and I are supposed to take the two mile
Christmas Tree Lane walk this evening. I've coordinated 20 teen
volunteers for this project and am really disappointed about the rain
since this area of town tends to have poor street drainage. Anyway for
the day I'll wear one of my favorite outfits
blue and white striped Oxford shirt from Zara
black cashmere RL pullover sweater
gray lightweight wool pants
black loafers and perhaps the Pucci rain boots
Burberry trench
gold earrings...three shades of gold in a swirl pattern, the gold watch
and thin gold bracelet
Cole Haan small hobo bag

Sunny and cold (but now a few snow flurries have entered the picture).
For the office and the trip over the Blue Ridge (where we may get
snowed in on Sunday night!!):
long black skirt, extremely straight cut, 2 buttons at waist, stretch
gabardine–like material
cream 3/4 sleeve v–neck shirt
black silk knit cardigan, one button closure
almost boa–like long hand–knit scarf, purple and deep blue yarn (blue
on the inside layer and purple on the outside layer), a new gift I
received yesterday
black loafers with silver buckle detail
diamond heart necklace (round cut diamonds in a yellow gold setting)
bezel set diamond earrings (white gold setting)
usual diamond and sapphire rings
silver faced watch (elongated rounded rectangular face––like an old TV
set) with a row of rhinestones on both sides on a pale pink leather
band
for outside: black 3/4 length all weather coat, sapphire panne velvet
scarf, black leather gloves

58 degrees and the radar map shows all of the rain south of us which is
a good thing because I'm going on a home tour, having guests for dinner
and then going to the final Fresno State football game. I'll watch them
in the Liberty Bowl on tv though Memphis might be fun for New Year's
Eve. Anyway today I'm wearing
black pant suit
cranberry cashmere pullover
gold heart necklace, irregular shape from the Alfama and gold dangling
earrings
black Uggs because I know I'll be hopping over puddles
black pebble grain leather small hobo bag with stitching in tan, two
pockets in the front
usual gold watch and bracelet
Burberry trench or green wool coat I have to see how cold it is outside
and how a coat will fit over the suit.
For the game I'll wear
Saks dark denim jeans
red cotton cable knit sweater with big collar and buckle detail at the
neckline
red stone earrings
same bag and boots
black wool jacket

jack starr ava jeans – a thin denim with great fit and details. It's
low rise (lower than most I wear) and boot cut legs.. It's still a
decent coverage . the contoured waistband makes a huge difference
also pink spaghetti strap cami along with a cotton ribbed sliced
henley from VS in royal
with a VSA magdalena necklace and pearl bracelets

How warm is it today? It was cold farther north with a lot of wind.

yesterday it was cool but not bad. very overcast
this morning is an entirely different ball game–– very very brisk,
windy and it rained though it's cleared out
I am having a party today and trying to figure out what to wear
right now wearing a wine colored velour tracksuit
for then, thinking of Edun rigid jeans, an ivory with gold lurex lace
cami with ruching (it's got a lot of coverage and fabric) and a cropped
military inspired velvet jacket that has double breasted buttons but
isn't double breasted actually–– (or maybe it is? I haven't worn it
yet) and it's in this fab color of steel blue.. more blue than grey..
and it has a stand up collar..
I want to wear delicate jewelry with this.. and was thinking of maybe
cropped cuffed denims with boots too as an option.

Very cold (in the 20s) this morning, and sunny. We're going to try to
do some Christmas shopping before it starts snowing this evening (and
possibly through...Tuesday. Or not. No one seems to know yet).
jeans
white tee–shirt
hot pink velour hoodie
cream socks with glittery gold thread woven in a tiny checkboard
pattern (I love these)
taupe knock–off Merrill mocs
usual jewelry

I also love socks like the ones you are wearing sparkling but not
specifically holiday.
54 degrees brisk, cold day for central CA This morning I am stopping
by the florist's for a plant for dear friends who lost a family member
on Thursday. These sympathy gifts are coming too often for me, a check
on my own mortality. I want to go to a few local stores having an "open
house" today to see if there is anything to tempt me. I have to go to
the yarn store to learn how to put in the second sleeve and finish my
teal sweater and then I will watch The Big Game. I'm just a Fresno
State fan by virtue of where I live (last night's game sucked), but my
heart belongs to UCLA. I hope the game against USC is not a blowout.
Dinner is at home so I hope to wrap, write cards, get my ss gift ready
to mail and a zillion other things.
heavy white wool fisherman knit Lauren sweater
dark denim jeans
white world's softest socks with navy denim and leather Coach tennis
shoes
green wool coat
pin made of mah jong tiles, a gift from a dear friend in Oakland, gold
Seiko watch,
tiny enamel Christmas tree earrings
