What are you *wearing* today?

"ahmward" <nospam.ahmw...@yahoo.com>
72 degrees It is supposed to be 10 degrees cooler this weekend so
perhaps I can wear my new green wool coat. I began the day with a much
needed 90 minute massage since I've been suffering with lower back pain
for the past 5 weeks. I picked up my glasses, bought more groceries and
did some things at home before I went to work. I had seven students stay
this afternoon; usually I've been averaging 20–30.
brown cotton v neck fitted long sleeve tee from Saks Real Clothes,
velvet trim at the neckline and sleeve edges
caramel SRC slacks
tan socks with Sesto Meucci brown moc croc loafers
Desmo chocolate woven leather hobo bag
topaz drop earrings, thin gold bracelet and watch
tan washable suede barn jacket in the morning

Cloudy and in the 30s now with some wind and sunshine later. We had
our first snowfall of the season last night, about a 1/2 inch on cars
and grass, and there's still some left on the cars this morning. The
Engineer and I were out for dinner last night and it was beautiful to
be out in the snow...even if November is a bit early for snow for DC!
Today we'll have Thanksgiving dinner with one of his cousins and her
family, then we'll go to see some friends, where I'll stay for the
evening and, as he doesn't have to work tomorrow, he'll head over the
Blue Ridge for the weekend (I'll join him tomorrow).
chiffon peasant blouse; white background with a floral pattern in
emerald green and sapphire blue, beaded at the (v–neck) placket and
sleeves in emerald green beads and sequins
jeans
sky blue suede loafers
bezel set diamond earrings (white gold setting)
diamond heart necklace (round cut diamonds, raised yellow gold setting)
usual diamond and sapphire rings
black leather cuff watch (crocodile embossed), round silver face
Happy Thanksgiving to all celebrating today!

I gotta tell you, it is a real pleasure being the guest for a change. My

Makeup, it takes believing in. Like a magic carpet, it's belief that

BLACK FRIDAY 2005: Houston is alternating fog and mist and in the
mid–60s. Tossed out the abundantly collected trash about 7:00; either
my neighbors didn't have anything yet or they were also in big–trash
mode. Called the Farm about 7:30 in the morning and found out what was
going on there (trip to town, a usual chore). Finished off all the
scanning and staging for my DVD photo album (136 files so far, but I
decided I needed picture #137 of me doing the photo album!) except the
stuff Mom's sending as hardcopy photos (WWII–era photographs, I hope
she's got the negatives if they get lost in the snail mail... won't
matter once I get them scanned, of course!). Usually would have
showered about this time but I did it last night. Assessed the fairly
empty refrigerator and went to Kroger to correct the matter: two trips
in with groceries and pop. After all that grocery shopping, I had to
go over for tortilla soup and a small order of beef fajitas (haven't
gone over since Sunday for various reasons). Now listening to Darlene
Zschech's second solo CD on my PC speakers, they're too good for their
usual diet of corporate conference calls; good if you like her style
of music (contemporary praise & worship, she's the worship leader of
Hillsong Australia). For the day:
Gray heather T–shirt
Black shorts

dust settles.

Woke up this morning to find out that my DR's appt had been cancelled
because of the weather...she has to drive about an hour to get to work and
we had near–blizzard conditions last night that made today's roads kind of
hazardous...I will be catching up on my weekly celeb tabloid mags today and
tonight I will be watching tv with my parents. Such a terribly, tragically
uneventful life I lead... (lol) It's in the 30's here in Minnesota with
snow on the ground again...

*ankle length black skirt with beige and cream swirls across it (Cato's)

ON THE 15th ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST EPISODE OF "THE SIMPSONS": Up
about 6:00 after sleeping a whole bunch. Made shopping run #1: went to
a ginormous new H–E–B that replaced the old one to the South, then I
gassed the car ($2.299/gallon). Unloaded the car and made a dumpster
run (should have done it yesterday with the door–to–door pickup but I
didn't). Then, out on shopping run #2: took a medical insurance check
(90% of an Rx I filled the last week of December) by the credit union
and went to Best Buy to use up a Christmas gift card that arrived in
January (BBC 3–DVD version of "Chronicles of Narnia"). By then, it was
time to go over to the Mexican place for tortilla soup and chicken
tacos. Came home, did some bookkeeping. For the day:
White T–shirt
Dark gray sweat pants
Nike Air Trainer Escape sneakers (blueprint)
http://sneakers.pair.com/l/airtesc6.jpg
FWIW, I suspect later on in the day, the gray sweats will be replaced
with blue shorts as it's warming up significantly.... I'm not as crazy
as the H–E–B bagger who was wearing shorts when the outside
temperature was in the 40s!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CHRIS SQUIRE OF "YES:" Got up at 6:45. Caught up on
bookkeeping and wrote a Farm letter (haven't done that in a while).
Mailed the letter and went by the credit union with a check, then I
took my broken glasses to be fixed (they ordered a new part). Since I
haven't had an eye exam in a while, they had an open exam slot this
morning, and I planned my FSA for a new pair of glasses in 2006; I'll
be having an eye exam followed by a late lunch. For part #1 of the
day:
