December and Vogue ...check out the Wal–Mart and Gap ads

"ahmward" <nospam.ahmw...@yahoo.com>
I went through the pages of my December Vogue today when I was getting
my hair done and I must say I looked for quite some time at the GAP and
Wal–Mart ads. The GAP ads are colorful and they make ordinary items
look appealing. The new George line for Wal–Mart (ads are near page
150) has some very nice pieces and I definitely think it's a step in the
right direction. A gold metallic top with long sleeves by White Stag is
just $7.44. I also liked the George black skirt with lace trim at the
hem and the double handled tweed handbag.

I agree, Audrey, and while I haven't seen the print ads, the George line
in Wal–mart is really quite a bargain for the money. And then some.

Our GAP store was just remodeled and it has the same theme. It's much
darker, but with color everywhere. It's a totally different feel than GAP
ever has felt before.

FWIW...ASDA in the UK is Walmart, by another name. George was their
housebrand there. Didn't have a chance to check out any items while I was
living there though.
