Advice Sisters 2005 Holiday Column

askalis...@nyc.rr.com
A few years ago there were some unfavorable comments posted here about
the Advice Sisters What Works beauty reviews. Since then, this
quarterly review has grown to more than three pages of impartial
reviews about beauty items, cosmetics, and a bit of home and fashion as
well.
Someone said that the reviews sounded like "press releases." Nothing
could be further from the truth! Each review is personally written by
a qualified, adult reviewer who is not compensated, by the way. We do
it because it's fun and we like to try new products and it is a labor
of love.
The name of the column is "What Works" which means we post reviews of
noteworthy products we feel the majority of readers will enjoy. We do
not use press releases except to get price and product information. We
do not post negative reviews because again, the column is about what
works, not what doesn't.
We are particularly proud of the latest column, which features three
pages of reviews. . PAGE ONE
http://www.advicesisters.net/whatworkscol3.html features gifts of the
season for everyone on your list (including you), along with products
for eyes, lips and nails. PAGE TWO:
http://www.advicesisters.net/whatworksHOLIDAY05pg2.html features
clever beauty finds, holiday home enhancers, great kits & sets,
fabulous foundations & blush, and body bling! PAGE THREE:
http://www.advicesisters.net/whatworksholiday05pg3.html features
fragrances, holiday hair helpers, beautiful bath & body products, and
gift suggestions especially for men. We have also inclued an
extensive, exclusive online buying guide on page three (you have to
scroll down to the end of the column to see it).
If you like the review, please let me know. If you don't, I'm ready to
hear your criticisms, but at least address them to me, please? You can
reach me through the advice sisters web sites.
Thank you and happy holidays
